A viral Facebook post was created after a Filipino father gave his newborn a unique name. He is a web designer.
Facebook posted the news about the birth of a child last Thursday. The name HypertextMark-up Language Rayo Pascual was used to introduce the newborn to the world.
According to reports, the aunt of her newborn son introduced him as “HTML” through a post on Facebook.
Pascual stated to a local news website , Inquirer.net, that uncommon names are a part of his family. He said that his own name stands for Macaroni85. He said that Spaghetti88 was the sister of one of his brothers, and that Parmesan Cheese and Cheese Pimiento are her children. However, they call themselves Chippy or Peewee.
Inquirer.net reported HTML was healthy and weighed in at 2.25 kilograms (4.9lbs) at the Bulacan Med Mission Group Cooperative Health.
Salie Rayo Pascual said the infant’s mom was happy to welcome her baby, and that all relatives were happy with the choice for her name.
Sincerely Pascual, the aunt of HTML, also known as Sincerely Yours Pascual shared a photo on Facebook showing her newest addition. She wrote: ‘Welcome, HTML.
The post has been shared more then 8,978 times. It also inspired numerous jokes on social media.
One user wrote: “In the near future, he could face bullies and be ridiculed,”
Another commented that parents should be responsible and sensible when naming their children… it’s the child’s life and identity, and why make them/him suffer.
A third Facebook user wrote: ‘If i were that child, i’d sue all my parents one day.
HTML joins the ranks of other babies whose strange names have attracted attention.
